The HFU Varsity Baseball teams’ first ever season is coming up fast! With the preseason just around the corner, the Tigers will make their way to Virginia to face the Virginia State Trojans in the first preseason game of the 2024 season, on February 24th.
The HFU Varsity Baseball teams regular season begins on March 20th. With 31 players on the Varsity roster for the 2024 season, The Tigers have been working tirelessly for a few months now.

When asked about preseason preparation; Joseph Giansante, Market Management, 2025, tells us “We have Mondays off, but Tuesday through Sundays we practice with double headers on the weekends to get ready for our season opener in Virginia.” He also mentions how he is “just happy to get back out there”, as surely the rest of the team is as well.

When speaking to Kyle Davis, Head Coach of the Tigers, he tells us that “It was challenging to get the program started. We are super fortunate to have unbelievable assistant coaches on our staff. They recruited really hard from June – August and we believe we assembled a talented roster.” With a main goal of “Establishing the identity of HFU Baseball”, Coach Davis is confident that the team will have success if they continue playing the way they did in the fall.
We wish the Baseball team luck as they embark on their first ever season at Holy Family University! Make us proud boys!
