With the Philadelphia Eagles in Minnesota preparing for Super Bowl 52 against the New England Patriots, Tri-Lite wanted to know what the vibe on campus was like for the big game. Not surprisingly, the Holy Family University students see the Eagles walking out of U.S. Bank Stadium holding the Lombardi Trophy.
“I think it’ll be a really close game. It’ll be a great game to watch and I really think the Birds will come out on top. Maybe something like 23-20. I don’t think Foles will outplay Brady but he’ll definitely do enough to get the win.”
– Andrew Fogel, Senior, Criminal Justice Major
“I say the Eagles are going to win because they’re a younger, stronger, faster team. We have a good front four who are going to put a lot of pressure on Brady and not even give him a chance to breathe.”
– Mathew Neal, Senior, Criminal Justice Major
“Overall, I think this is going to be a great game. If the Eagles win the Super Bowl, Philly will literally lose it and go nuts. I think is this going to be a great game, probably the best yet! Let’s get ’em boys. Fly Eagles Fly. ”
– Jen Peters, Junior, Communications Major
“I genuinely think the Eagles will win this year’s Super Bowl. I know most of the world is rooting for the Eagles and I know they’ve worked incredibly hard to get where they’re at. They won’t let us down. This game is going to be the best yet!”
– Gerome Gutierrez, Senior, General Psychology Major, Childhood Studies Minor
“Personally, I am not a huge football fan or even sports in general. But, from what I have seen they seem pretty good since they made it this far. Will they win? Probably.”
– Meagan Postaski, Senior, Nursing Major
“I didn’t even think the Eagles were gonna get this far, but Tom Brady doesn’t deserve another Super Bowl win.”
– Jake Arthur, Senior, Computer Information Systems Major
“I think it’s gonna be a close game. I love my Eagles, so of course I’m gonna hop on the bandwagon and go with them! I think the Eagles will shine through.”
– Halie Bowers, Junior, English Secondary Education Major
