Are you looking for a space to explore your creative interests?
The School of Arts and Sciences is excited to announce a new academic minor in Creative Writing!
The minor in Creative Writing is focused on the three major genres of non-fiction, poetry, and fiction. However, hybridization and fluidity are encouraged for students to explore their creative potential. For students to gain hands-on writing and publishing experience, The School of Arts and Sciences has the student newspaper Tri-Lite and the literary journal Folio.
The Creative Writing Minor is 18 credits, and new courses in poetry writing, non-fiction writing, and fiction writing are being offered in hybrid and online formats.
